After more than 10 years since they last collaborated on Blackadder Back & Forth, Richard Curtis and Ben Elton are writing new material together.<\/p>\n
\u201cI\u2019ve just started working on a new project with Richard,\u201d Elton explained at the first night of Cirque du Soleil\u2019s Totem at the Royal Albert Hall. \u201cIt\u2019s been a long time since we worked together so it is fun.\u201d<\/p>\n
Curtis, who went on to write and direct, is, however, unlikely to be creating another series of Blackadder with Elton.<\/p>\n
\u201cIt is so lovely that everyone wants it back that it\u2019s almost a shame to do it and ruin that,\u201d says Elton. \u201cThe new stuff will be original, but I can\u2019t reveal anymore than that.\u201d<\/p>\n
