Blackadder sounds

I’ve been wanting to get some sounds up on the site for sometime now and I’ve only just got round to doing it. Here you’ll find links to a wide range of phrases and one-liners from all four series of Blackadder. If you want to save them to your desktop and use them as mobile phone ring tones, simply right-mouse click on the link and select “save as..”. Then use whatever means to get the sound onto your compatible mobile phone. To listen to them, simply click on the link and the sound will open up in a new browser window.

Send a Blackadder Hall e-card

I've finally gotten round to adding some interactivity to the website in the form of some neato e-cards. Currently there are 24 different cards to choose from (6 from each series) and over the coming months, I'll add more and more. Sending them is really simple, just select the card you want to send and fill out a few text boxes. Go on, send one today!

Blackadder CD-ROM

Blackadder's life and antics, immortalised in the BBC television series, are laid open for all to explore in this CD-ROM. The World of Blackadder is split into the four main eras of the great Blackadder dynasty reflecting the four different television series: the Middle Ages, the Elizabethan years, Georgian Times and World War One. You can check out all the important people from Blackadder's many lives throughout the dynasty in the Portrait Gallery. Baldrick, Lord Melchett, Dr Samuel Johnson and Captain Darling all offer pearls of wisdom from each of the four eras on the whos, hows, whys and wherefores affecting Blackadder in the educational and entertaining History section.

Blackadder related fun 'n' games

I've put together a collection of Blackadder quizzes and also the Blackadder CD-ROM shockwave game. I'll hopefully update this with some more Blackaddery-themed games in the future.

Blackadder Hall gardens

baldrickBefore we start, I must just say that this section isn't actually written by Baldrick as he can't actually write. He has however drawn in pictures what he would like to say, and so I have translated his poor excuses for pictures into some sort of understandable form of wordage.

So, what's this all about? Well, let me tell you it's everything you wanted to know about gardening. When I say gardening, I do of course mean turnip gardening, as there's no other sort according to Baldrick. He grows them for everything from footware to laundry baskets (only big turnips will make these). He's even been known to cook with them. And when I say cook, I mean put in a pot and boiled in pond water.

Blackadder Hall kitchens

Mrs MigginsHello my lovelies, how nice of you to drop in. Pull up a chair and sample some of my fine coffee and one of my new rock cakes. Mr. Blackadder loves it he does. Ooooh, that sounds rude. Like my horse sausage pie and milk custard. Anyway, I take it you're here for my cookery class. I've put together some nice easy recipes for you, all you need to do is get your own ingredients and mix them all together. If you don't have a required ingredient, just use something that looks like it. Salt is a good substitute for sugar and I always use ground rock in my rock cakes. Just don't ask about my hot dog sausages in a bun.

Blackadder Hall shop

The Blackadder Hall shop is offline at the moment for a re-stock. If you're looking to buy Blackadder books or DVDs, use the Amazon search boxes on the right.

Comic Relief comic

I'll get round to scanning in the comic soon and will present it shortly. I'm not sure how best to do it yet. I may do a PDF download or turn it into a cool flash comic.
